UNID is built on trust between people who care about music.

The basics

Treat every person on this platform the way you would want to be treated in a room full of people who know more than you. You are a guest in someone else’s culture until you earn your place in it.

What we expect

Accurate IDs only. If you are not sure, say you are not sure. A wrong confident answer is worse than an honest guess.

Credit belongs to the artist. Never claim a track that is not yours. Never suggest an artist as the ID if you are guessing.

No harassment. No hate speech. No targeting of individuals. This includes DMs.

No self-promotion in cases. The ID is the only thing that belongs in a case response.

No spam. No bots. No manipulation of credits or rankings.

Text only in messages. No links. No files. This is not negotiable and it is for everyone’s protection including yours.

What happens when you break them

First violation: a warning and removal of the offending content.

Second violation: temporary suspension.

Third violation: permanent removal.

There is no appeals process for permanent removal. The decision is final.

A note on the culture

The scene this platform exists inside has its own norms. Track ID secrecy, DJs who guard their music, artists who are protective of unreleased work — we respect all of that. UNID is opt-in at every level. Nobody is required to share anything they do not want to share. The platform exists to serve the culture, not to extract from it.

If you are here, you care about the music. So do we. Keep it that way.
